Hotel Bocciolo exceeded our expectations with its breathtaking lake views and attentive staff. The breakfast spread included fresh pastries and even delightful apple strudel, setting the tone for our adventures in Orta.

While the location provided stunning scenery, it was a bit further from the town center than we anticipated, requiring a 25-minute walk along the lakeside path. Transportation options could be clearer.

the wedding music was utterly distracting, impossible to relax. also, the restaurant was closed on a Wednesday, which is obviously unheard of. I woudl ve been pleased with a room upgrade, but clearly, that’s for the ‘special’ guests. honestly, I almost left a good review, but this place truly missed the mark on hospitality and service.

The Double Room with Balcony and Lake View offered spectacular views—worth every credit. The lake backdrop made lounging on the balcony a memorable experience.

The location is a decent trek from town, clocking in over 0.8 miles, which can be a drag, especially after a long day. Breakfast selections were limited and the hot tub steps were dirty. No towels were provided upon check-in. The lack of a lounge area also made it feel less homey than you might hope.

I recently had a fabulous two-night stay at this charming hotel where the breakfast was exceptional, with fresh eggs cooked to order, and the stunning terrace view over the lake was a highlight. However, we had some noise from an adjacent wedding that slightly affected our evening. Overall, I'd definitely return again!
